When we brewed OG Hopslam 20 years ago, we were experimenting with hop varietals from the Pacific Northwest on the cutting edge of hop innovation. The bitter pine of those hops and the 10% ABV of Hopslam pushed the limits of what an IPA could be. 20 years later, hop growers are still experimenting, and consumer tastes have gravitated toward fruitier notes.
