Bonny Doon Vineyard - A Proper Claret
Style: Red Wine Blend
ABV: 13.00%

The wine contains a substantial dollop of petit verdot, adding a silky note of violets and textural elegance, in counterpoint to the lead-in-the-pencil firmness offered by the inclusion of the virile tannat. There is still a lovely minty, cedary aspect to this wine, reflective of its perfect balance, with nary a prunish note to be found.

Bonny Doon Vineyard - Clos de Gilroy
Style: Red Wine Blend
ABV: 14.50%

Spicy, pepper and floral. Beautiful opalescent ruby color with an exceptional spicebox nose: black pepper with hints of clove/gingerbread, bing cherry, red currant and Santa Rosa plum. Maybe slightly more texture than the very soft, plush 2013 vintage. This wine pairs exceptionally well with a range of dishes, not the least being peppered ahi tuna steak. Best served with a slight chill, especially as the weather warms up.

Bonny Doon Vineyard - Gravitas
Style: White Wine
ABV: 13.50%

Gravitas is pretty much a white Bordeaux-style blend, except for the small splash of Orange Muscat (2.5 percent) that lends a floral note. The majority of the composition is Semillon and Sauvignon blanc. The wine is crafted in a soft, round, approachable style that emphasizes the fig and melon character of the Semillon. The Sauvignon delivers aromas of grapefruit and citrus as well as a bit of minerality and acid.

Bonny Doon Vineyard - Vin Gris de Cigare
Style: Rosé
ABV: 13.00%

Bonny Doon's Vin Gris, a Provencal-styled pink, is a rather pale salmon color, owing to the fact that it is made from the lightest pressing of bespoke grapes, harvested at the appropriate maturity, i.e. not quite as ripe as those picked to produce a red wine. There is a lovely chalky/smoky gunpowder tea aspect to the nose, with a suggestion of bergamot, wild strawberry and maybe even a delicate trace of wintergreen.
