Citrana is often referred to as “Tucson’s original sour beer”. We’ve modernized this 400+ year old German recipe by making a beer that’s just a little higher in ABV, and uses cardamom alongside the traditional coriander and sea salt to enhance the aroma and truly differentiate it from other goses. It’s citrusy and refreshing, and a great introduction to sour beers in general.

Borderlands Brewing Co. - La Morena
Style: Brown Ale
ABV: 4.50%

Local beer. Local ingredients. Our La Morena nut brown features hand-roasted pecans grown locally by the Green Valley Pecan Company, a family-owned farm just an hour south of the brewery. Arizona pecans are some of the best in the world, and we’re very lucky to have such a wonderful source in our own backyard. The pecans are perfectly balanced with subtle caramel and fig notes from the malted barley and centennial hops.

Borderlands Brewing Co. - Noche Dulce
Style: Vanilla Porter
ABV: 7.10% IBU: 15.5

One way to describe this beer is “a dark beer for people who don’t like dark beers.” Another way is “delicious.” Notes of cocoa, espresso, and delicately roasted barley blend nicely with real Mexican vanilla from Arizona Vanilla Company. This medium bodied, highly sippable beer is quickly becoming a local favorite.

Our prickly pear wheat is a light bodied, refreshing ale with a great wheat flavor and subtle nuances of citrus fruits like lemon and grapefruit.
