A south German style of wheat beer (weissbier) made with wheat and uses a yeast that produces unique phenolic flavors of light banana and cloves with an often dry and tart edge, some spiciness, bubblegum or notes of apples. Unlike most Hefes, this beer has a strong but balanced tropical fruity hop bitterness using New Zealand Motueka and Pacifica Hops.

Drawing from his Filipino heritage, our Brewmaster Sherwin brewed this IPA with ube (purple yam) and stuffed it with Motueka, Citra and Northern Brewer hops. Ube Wan has a strong tropical-fruit, citrus and piney-hop bitterness, and a lightly creamy ube finish. The natural purple hue also makes it fun to drink at your local cantina.
