A liquid transfer of hops to the glass. Named after a surrealist art technique, also known as a "blotting process," where paint is squeezed between two surfaces to create a mirror image or pattern. Light in color, cloudy, and full bodied built from a hop combo of Wakatu, Nelson Sauvin, and Cascade. Floral, fruity, bright citrus, slightly bitter.

Bright, crisp, and golden, our Flaxen Schmetterling festbier is a refreshing reprieve to the super-malty, amber-colored Marzens and Vienna lagers most often associated with Oktoberfest.

The red-orange, intricately-patterned and serrated wings of the Red Lacewing butterfly reflect the characteristics of our inaugural amber ale. This unfiltered amber ale's malty backbone balances with a slight edge of Cascade and Centennial hops, and leaves a beautiful foam lace in the glass as it flutters past your tongue.
