East Grove Farms Bumbleberry Mead is a semi-sweet melomel, or fruit mead. This mead is made from Concord grapes, elderberries and aronia berries grown on the farm and hand picked with love. The locally sourced honey gives this mead a very smooth and wonderfully complex flavor. This sparkling mead has a beautiful, rich purple color with an easy drinking light body.

East Grove Farms - Elderberry Mead
Style: Mead
ABV: 9.00%

This sweet mead is made with whole elderberries that give it a nice rose' color. Like all of our meads, no sugar is added to sweeten the wine, only honey. While this is a sweet wine, it has a more delicate body than you would expect. It has a beautiful bouquet and flavors of strawberry pie. Elderberry mead pairs well with spinach salads, grilled chicken and fresh fruits, but can also go well with spicy Asian food. Try mixing it with soda for a wine spritzer.

	East Grove Farms - Johnny Apple Mead Style: Mead ABV: 9.00% East Grove Farms apple mead, or cyzer, is our tribute to the man who did so much to promote orchards across the newly expanding nation. This sparkling mead is made with locally sourced honey and apples. The tartness of the cider is complimented by the sweetness of the honey giving a well balanced, but bold flavor.

	East Grove Farms - Persimmon Style: Mead ABV: 10.00% Like many other East Grove wines, this is unlike anything you have tried before. It starts with tropical fruit flavors but as it sits on your palate, it will develop hazelnut flavors. It is an exciting semi-dry wine to drink.

A show mead is made with the fewest possible ingredients and processing as possible. Honey, water, and fermentation are all thats required. We use local Iowa honey in all of our products, making Shambletown easy drinking. You will get a touch of honey sweetness and lovely carbonation that come together for a drinking experience fit for royalty.
