Style: American IPA
ABV: 6.50% IBU: 65.0

Awesome-O West Coast IPA pours clean and clear with a light golden hue. Sticky pine resin initially rising from the glass dominates the nose, complimented by more subtle tangerine and papaya aromas that begin to shine through. Bright initial carbonation on the palate is quickly overtaken by flavors of dry pine and juniper which dominate with forward bitterness slowly fading after each sip (or gulp)! Subtle orange flower and grapefruit notes rest behind this classically hop forward West Coast IPA; with Awesome-O, the name speaks for itself!

Hill 88 is our double IPA and all double IPAs are not created equal. Ours has an all malt backbone that lends a touch of sweetness to an assertive hop profile. And we use a unique hopping technique called Omakase-style hopping. Hill 88 is named after one of the highest spots in the Headlands where the Nike missile launch pads still sit. We might have had one or two beers up there back in the early days. Maybe.
