We mashed our sourdough day old loaves with 30% rye malt and 50% pilsner malt. We then kettle soured this pillowy goodness with our sourdough starter from the Bread Lab Bakery. Rye Not?!? Is a lightly tart ale with soft pillowy edges reminensent of starter levain. Noticable rye spice character with crisp effervescent carbonation and sweet crusty toast finish. A perfect gateway sour ale.

We added just the right amount of strawberrry and vanilla to make this rendition extremely smooth and creamy.
