This unfiltered lager is named for Robert Smalls, a local Charlestonian who went from slavery to the U.S. House of Representatives. His story is truly impressive. For such an impressive man, we’ve made a truly impressive beer. It’s a smooth lager with a mild herbal/spicy hop aroma and a crisp bitter finish.
