River North Brewery - Hoppenberg Uncertainty Principle
Style: Belgian Dubbel
ABV: 9.00% IBU: 100.0

This beer is a hybrid of two brewing cultures. The recipe is basically designed around an imperial IPA, but instead of American ale yeast, the brewery ferments the beer with its house Belgian yeast strain. The result gives you big hop flavor, like orange and grapefruit, along with yeasty notes like black pepper. Just as the IBUs promise, aggressive, drying bitterness drives each sip of Hoppenberg Uncertainty Principle.

Brewed with barley, wheat and oats, Mountain Haze utilizes an avalanche of Citra hops late in the brewing process, delivering a juicy and floral brew with a restrained bitterness. Dry-hopped with more than double the hops of any other River North beer, this nouveau take on the style now gives River North an IPA on each end of the spectrum.
