Solid Ground Brewing - Arzelle
Style: Strong Ale
ABV: 8.80% IBU: 33.0

Arzelle is responsible for the fruity aromas of peaches and apricots in typically found in Rhone Viognier. We used an unhopped IPA base and blended it with Viognier we produced from the Sierra Foothills. Arzelle has a crisp acidity with notes of apricot, ginger, and peach which are derived both by hops and the Viognier addition.

	Solid Ground Brewing - Cab Rose Sour Style: Saison ABV: 8.70% With this beer we took 33% El Dorado County Cabernet Sauvingon Rose juice and co-fermented it with a Saison base beer in barrel. After fermentation we added Brett and let age for 6 months in barrel. Fruity and spicy on the nose with subtle hints of Brett. The beer drinks bright and acidic with hints of Rose wine.

	Solid Ground Brewing - Caledonia Style: India Pale Ale ABV: 6.50% IBU: 45.0 Caledonia is the Latin name given by the Romans to the land in today's Scotland. Our Caledonia : It is fresh off the tank and is tasting bright with juicy citrus flavors. Brewed with two row malt and oats, this beer finishes full bodied with hints of cereal and lingering mango, spiced orange and zesty pine on the palate.

	Solid Ground Brewing - Clouds Rest Style: IPA - New England ABV: 6.50% Clouds Rest is a mountain in Yosemite National Park. This hazy IPA is light-bodied and bucks the trend with a firm bitterness. The pairing of Galaxy and Hallertau Blanc hops create aromas of papaya, guava, and white wine. The palate of Clouds Rest is earthy with a pleasant spice that lingers.

	Solid Ground Brewing - Darvaza Style: Double IPA ABV: 9.10% IBU: 90.0 This beer is our interpretation of an aggressive double IPA. We started with a dry base with hints of malt and bittered to 90 IBU. We then dry hopped with 3 pounds per barrel of Idaho 7 and Citra hops. Darvaza is very aromatic on the nose with citrus and dank scents and finishes dry and bitter.

Solid Ground Brewing - Devils Leap
Style: Imperial Stout
ABV: 10.30% IBU: 70.0

It starts off as a traditional ‘Export Stout’ in the spirit of those brewed in the British Isles for export to the high courts of Russia in the 18th century, but is quickly brought home with the addition of El Dorado County Petite Sirah. This merriment emboldens the already present dark fruit and candied cherry found in this beer and heightens it with a cleansing acidity and age not normally found in a 10.3% abv beer.

Solid Ground Brewing - Gneiss -- NITRO
Style: Irish Dry Stout
ABV: 4.20% IBU: 30.0

Gneiss is named after a metamorphic rock, which are some of the oldest rocks found in The Giant's Causeway in Ireland. At 4.2% ABV, this beer has a medium-light body and is highly drink-able. It is served on nitro for a creamy consistency. Its bitterness comes from a generous amount of roasted barley. Gneiss is not a beer meant for "babysitting".

Solid Ground Brewing - Hesse
Style: Pale Ale

This pale ale is inspired by the American Hefeweizen brewed by Anchor Brewing in San Francisco in the early 1980’s. Our version mirrors those examples in body and creaminess; a natural product of the large amounts of wheat in the grist. However, our beer deviates from there. We hop our version heavily with varietals that bring large amounts of bright citrus, juicy tropical fruit, and a touch of rosemary.

Style: India Pale Ale

In the 1780s, a London brewer called Hodgson made a heavily hopped beer to survive the six-month journey from Britain to India.This was the prototype IPA; the beer gradually became paler and more refreshing to suit the Indian climate. Kabru is brewed to be a classic West Coast IPA. We dry-hopped this beer with Cashmere and Simcoe for flavors of citrus, tropical fruit, lemon zest, pine and spice.

Solid Ground Brewing - Le Champ

Brewed to be dry and yeast driven, this beer is very complex with strong impressions of clove and stone fruit. The body of this beer is remarkably balanced given its dry finish and bright acidity. Our saison is brewed using a dual-strain yeast culture which provides all the earth and spice of a traditional Wallonian beer, as well as containing contrasting notes of fruit.

	Solid Ground Brewing - Makalu Style: IPA - New England / Hazy ABV: 6.80% This hazy IPA features Strata, Waimea, and Hallertau Blanc hops, creating a fruity and complex beer. Notes of orange creamsicle, Pineapple, nectarine, and tropical fruits on the nose and palate. It has a rich body and finishes dry.

	Solid Ground Brewing - Mango Pineapple Pacaya Style: Pilsner ABV: 5.40% IBU: 40.0 Pacaya is an active volcano in Guatemala. We infused mango, pineapple, and peppers into a pilsner base, which creates a fruity heat that builds with every sip. This beer has aromas and flavors of mango, pineapple, citrus, pepper, and smoke with underlying notes of a crisp pilsner.

Solid Ground Brewing - Pacaya

We started this beer by brewing a traditional Bohemian-style pilsner. We then partnered with a local pepper farmer who curated a custom ghost pepper blend using several different varieties. We infuse the peppers into the pilsner, which creates a heat that builds with every sip. This beer has aromas and flavors of citrus, pepper, and smoke with underlying notes of a crisp pilsner.

	Solid Ground Brewing - Painted Desert Style: Imperial IPA ABV: 8.50% IBU: 40.0 Painted Desert is a desert of badlands in the Four Corners area running from the Grand Canyon National Park and into the Petrified Forest National Park. This Double IPA is hopped with Mosaic, Citra and Simcoe for flavors of tropical fruit and resinous pine. Painted Desert is juicy and has low bitterness.

Solid Ground Brewing - Pharaoh's Island
Style: Barleywine
ABV: 12.00% IBU: 25.0

Pharaoh’s Island is located off the coast of Egypt. This beer was co-fermented with 12% late harvest Muscat of Alexandria. It is deep ruby in color and has aromas of cognac, fruitcake, bubblegum, and mulled cider. On the palette, there are flavors of spiced fruits, cinnamon, and gingerbread; which has a lingering warmth with mild sweetness and complimenting hops.

Solid Ground Brewing - Pomme De Champ
Style: Farmhouse Ale
ABV: 7.50% IBU: 35.0

This beer was co-fermented with local Barsotti Family apple juice and our Le Champ saison in a Vineyard 29, Saint Helena Pinot Noir barrel. Pomme de Champ has the spice and fruit from our Le Champ saison with acidity provided from the apple juice. The beer finishes with French Oak notes and a slight souring nuance from the native barrel flora.

Solid Ground Brewing - Rampart
Style: Helles
ABV: 5.20% IBU: 27.0

Easily distinguished from a Pilsner, Helles has a fuller malt presence with notably more biscuit and cereal notes. Our version follows the German template with the addition of Munich Malt and Hallertauer Mittelfruh hops, the most noble of the so-called “Noble hops”, but gets an American touch with the addition of California rice.

Solid Ground Brewing - Sipka
Style: Czech Pilsner

The story of Pilsner beer is one that changed the world. It is a story of competition, world beer fairs, stolen German yeast, technological advances, and bohemian glass. As teasing as that is, so is our version of this classic beer. Brewed with pilsner malt, Sipka is pale in color and has a distinct Czech hop aroma. It finishes dry with bright acidity and effervescence.

	Solid Ground Brewing - Wiesn Style: Hefeweizen ABV: 5.60% IBU: 12.0 Traditional German Hefeweizens are also distinct in their use of a unique yeast strain which produces a beer with notable amounts of clove, banana, and occasionally bubblegum esters. We worked hard to produce a hefe that leans heavier towards the stronger clove and milder banana, with reduced amounts of bubblegum.
