German-style dark lager brewed in connection to the city of Killeen and our newest Southern Roots Brewing location. Named for the year Killeen was founded during the expansion of the Gulf, Colorado, and Santa Fe Railway through Central Texas, this beer is a little nod to the history that helped shape the community. Expect smooth malt character with notes of toasted bread, subtle caramel, and a crisp, clean finish that keeps you coming back for another sip.
