Cheerful Monk is an Abbey Ale brewed by Eric Carman, winner of the Belgian category at the DRAFT (Dayton Region Amateur Fermentation Technologists) Brewfest. Eric came to Yellow Springs to help us brew this version of his recipe and we’re thrilled about the results! Even with a higher than typical ABV for this style, this pleasantly malty and slightly fruity beer is extremely drinkable.
