Oaklyn Springs Brewery - Ain't No Joke

Nobody can press up and mess up, this West Coast we've set. Ain't No Joke is another entry in our Modern WCIPA series, brewed with domestic Pilsner malt to lay down a crisp and light base, dosed with a small amount of wheat and chit malts for added body and foam stand, fermented to a quenchable dry finish with our house American Ale Yeast. We used Strata and Citra in the whirlpool for signature dank and citrus qualities, it was then Double Dry Hopped with Simcoe Cryo, Chinook, Sultana, and Columbus Cryo. Pale yellow and brilliantly clear in the Modern tradition, we're getting terpene rich bright dankness, forward pine, ample citrus, and a hint of peachy stone fruit to round things out.

Just like what Mamaw makes! This treat of a craft strikes a surprising resemblance to the traditional desert while still being all that you love from a well-balanced beer. With plenty of fresh banana puree and brewed with nilla wafers, we managed to capture the flavor you crave. The base beer consists of Maris Otter, White Wheat, Munich, and Lactose to capture that smooth consistency of pudding. Who doesn't want a little sweet now and then?
