A partnership with the Joslyn Art Museum has rendered this interpretation of the 18th century work by Edouard Cibot; Fallen Angels. How do you put a painting into a beer you might ask? We decided against adding actual snakes in production. Also, no angels were harmed in the making. What's left? In the artwork, you will see the forbidden fruit in the mouth of one of the serpents, and red blood on the angels wings. We thought the blood could be represented by cinnamon. And the apple, well with cider of course. We utilized local cider straight from Arbor Farms. And the cinnamon from your mom's cabinet. We'll replace it later... The result of this project is a highly drinkable, blonde ale that might be the best seasonal beer for drinking year-round.
