We use locally pressed cider from New York state grown apples as well as locally grown 2-row barley to create our fall seasonal. The beer also incorporates cinnamon, allspice, oatmeal and brown sugar. The beer pours a perfect reddish/amber color and is slightly hazy. The aroma immediately reminds you of fall from the fresh cinnamon and allspice used. Upon the sip, you get more spice, but also a fantastically rich malty base, slightly sweet, with a subtle tangy apple finish. The hops add just enough bitterness to keep this spiced fruit beer very much a beer. Savor this beer and celebrate autumn in Western New York. Enjoy!
