Indigo Reef Brewing Co. - Goliath Grouper

Hop-forward with notes of citrus and pine from Amarillo and Centennial hops, this beer is more bitter than a standard IPA. Behind the hops, you'll notice light caramel and biscuit added by the grain to create this big, bold, West Coast double IPA. Fun Fact: A goliath grouper’s age can be estimated using annual growth rings in its dorsal fin rays, much like those found within tree trunks.

Our Mola Mola (aka Sunfish) is a juicy, (sometimes) hazy IPA we know you’ll enjoy. We used Warrior, Citra, Amarillo, and Mosaic hops combined with London Ale III yeast. Even if you traditionally don’t enjoy juicy/New England IPAs, we encourage you to give this one a try. It has the right amount of bitterness and juiciness to satisfy every type of IPA drinker.
