A Bavarian specialty first brewed in Munich by the monks of St. Francis of Paula. The term“doppel bock” (double bock) was coined by Munich consumers.

ABV: 5.10% IBU: 16.0

Weeping Radish is proud to brew this weizen that was first brewed as a cooperative effort by the North Carolina Craft Brewers Guild to honor our state’s beer pioneer, Uli Bennewitz. A Bavarian Hefe, but with a local twist, including Triticale grain from Durham’s Epiphany Malt House. Triticale is a unique hybrid of wheat and rye and offers a spicy, yet soft, malt flavor to the traditional German-Inspired wheat ale.
