?World Peace Peanut Milk is our second beer from the Pastry Kitchen — a series of decadent beers inspired by classic bay area desserts. ? ?For this course, we've teamed up with State Bird Provisions to pay homage to their legendary peanut milk. This humble dish — a glass of Spanish peanut–infused milk with a hint of muscovado sugar — is an intense joy and comfort at the end of a special meal. It's beautifully simple, yet perfectly crafted into something incredibly rich and vivid. ? ?It's been an absolute honor recreating this dessert in stout form. Our beer has a moderate roastiness and rich peanut flavors balanced by lots of molassesy sweetness reminiscent of muscovado sugar. Lactose gives it a creamy mouthfeel, and a dash of vanilla just barely tickles your nose. It’s smooth, luscious, nutty, and — just like the original — a perfect liquid dessert after a nice meal. ? ?Many thanks to the whole @statebirdprovisions crew for working with us on this delightful beverage!
