A crisp, crushable blonde ale in the style of German Kolsch. The clean lager-like flavor and dry finish make this a great beer to enjoy by the pint any time. German light hybrid style that bridges ale and lager. This example is at the low end of ABV for the style and as such, is light, refreshing, and crushable. Crisp like a lager with a bit more yeast flavor. Uses traditional German ingredients including floor-malted German pilsner malt, Vienna malt, and Hallertau Mittelfruh hops.

English-style pub ale - amber ale with a balance between malt and bitterness. Toasty and nutty malt flavor with notes of caramel. Fruity English yeast character. Starts with a slightly sweet, rich malt flavor and quickly evolves to a dry, clean finish. Meant to be something flavorful yet able to be enjoyed by the pint (or multiple). While it’s not strong by US standards, this was among the stronger of the English bitter styles.

This beer focuses on deep malt flavors with toasty and nutty flavors and hints of chocolate while maintaining a clean fermentation profile and relatively dry finish. This bridges the gap between ale and lager in terms of fermentation / yeast character. This is on the stronger end of the style, making it a “Sticke Altbier”, which translates to “secret”.
