The yeast provides subtle notes of strawberry and spice while the kombucha and peppercorns impart a light sourness and bright fruit character.

Pay It Forward changes its hop combinations every few months to bring new flavors to the can and bursts with aroma from a healthy dose of dry hopping which blankets your mouth in flavor while still finishing dry. Hazy from a mix of hop oils plus the addition of wheat & oats in the malt, it all comes together to create a sweetness to balance out the hop bite.

We started with a simple sour base beer, with some nutty grains and caramelized sugars to build that pie crust character. Then we added heaping quantities of blackberry, raspberry and blueberry to the tank to layer in all that sweet and tart berry flavor that builds the pie filling. Finally, we touched the beer up with almond and cinnamon, to give it that final touch of fresh baked pie aroma.
